From new construction and renovation to furnishings and the final layer, Studio West offers interior design tailored to the needs and scope of each project. Our involvement can be comprehensive or focused, depending on where you are and what your home needs.
Our work may begin with architectural plans or with a home already full of history. We consider the whole picture — space, materials, furnishings, lighting, art and the details that give a home character. From there, we determine what belongs, what needs to change and where our expertise can make the greatest impact.
For second homes and destination properties, our involvement can extend through procurement and complete setup, creating a home that is not simply finished, but ready to enjoy

Our design perspective also extends to homes being prepared for market.
Rather than relying on a warehouse inventory, Studio West approaches each property individually. We edit what distracts, keep what adds value, identify where change will have the greatest impact and introduce new pieces only where they strengthen the whole.
The result is a home that feels considered, authentic and memorable, while allowing buyers to imagine living there.

Every project begins with listening. We take the time to understand how you live, what you are drawn to, what isn't working and what you want your home to become.

This is where the possibilities begin to take shape. We establish the point of view for the project through space planning. palette, materials and an overall design direction. These early decisions create the foundation for the project and give us a clear lens through which to make the many decisions that follow.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
With the direction established, we begin developing the details. Furnishings, finishes, fixtures, lighting, cabinetry, textiles and art are considered together rather than as individual decisions. Drawings, specifications and documentation are developed as the project requires, with builder and trade collaboration integrated along the way.

PROCUREMENT + IMPLEMENTATION
An approved design is only the beginning. Bringing it to life requires just as much attention.
Studio West manages the purchasing and order process for the pieces we procure and remains engaged as the project moves forward. Depending on the scope, this may include coordination with builders and trades, site visits, receiving and delivery planning. and the inevitable decisions that arise along the way.
